responsible use of power means living with the consequences of your actions When Brock Turner uses his (white, privileged male) power to get out of jail for rape, it’s an abuse of power. When Nelson Mandela goes to jail for protesting apartheid in South Africa, it’s a responsible use of power. Responsible uses of power means you understand the consequences of your actions, act accordingly, and live through the consequences of your actions. Trying to use your power to get out of reasonable consequences is an abuse and misuse of power.

The ‘my ex is an asshole’ conversation is always an interesting conversation to have your with current significant other (SO).
